Our Federation Development Plan 2026–2027: The Skylark 6
As part of the Skylark Federation, Hamsey shares a clear vision with our partner schools: that every child is known, included and inspired to flourish academically, socially and personally, within a safe, ambitious and caring federation.
This year, our work is guided by six key priorities, which we call The Skylark 6:
- Safeguarding and Attendance: every child is safe, known and attends well.
- Inclusion and SEND: all children thrive through an inclusive and ambitious education.
- Writing and Communication: developing confident communicators and successful writers.
- Adaptive Teaching and Curriculum Review: an ambitious curriculum where every child can succeed.
- Behaviour, Wellbeing and Personal Development: growing confident, resilient and responsible young people.
- Community, Culture and Professional Development: creating exceptional schools where children, staff and communities flourish.
We look forward to sharing our progress with you throughout the year. If you have any questions about our plans, please speak to a member of staff or contact the school office.
